Open Classes & Parents Meetings
PPAS believes that when parents work together with a school and its teachers, their children will be able to benefit enormously from their classes.

This is why PPAS organises Open Classes and Parents Meeting periodically. Open Classes allow for parents to sit in and observe the classes that their children are currently participating in. While the Parents' Meeting is a useful means for parents, teachers, and the school to reconnect and nurture a more fulfilling relationship. PPAS believes that through open communication, both the school and parents can create a conducive environment for students to learn in.

Year-End Presentation & Biennale Public Performance

It is PPAS' training philosophy that students are encouraged to apply what they have learnt into practice. Performance is part of the training programme for its student. Staging a public production will provide students with an opportunity to work side by side with professional choreographers, designers, backstage crew and production team. This will ensure a production of professional standards.

PPAS believes that in the process of working towards a production, its students will also develop their sense of responsibility, commitment and discipline; build confidence, team work and effective communication; and cultivate individual expression and imagination.

This is also our way of assessing students in place of examinations. At PPAS, we believe that the application of knowledge in the course of performance and presentation is a better indicator of what a student has learnt. By asserting this belief, we also state our stand with respect to examinations.

Assessment (Applicable for Children Courses only)

Students in our courses for children will be assessed through a review which will take place at the end of the calendar year. This will be either in the form of a presentation or a public performance. Students will also receive an assessment report from their respective teacher.
